Before co-founding Vera Development, Stephen graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from Purdue University and pursued a career working for several General Contractors across the US. Stephen eventually transitioned to a Construction Management firm, where he specialized in managing projects through the entire Development process from conception through construction completion. Stephen quickly realized his passion for building great things, or “place-making”, which he defines as building projects that attract people because they improve and complement the surrounding community due to their thoughtful and sustainable designs. He also loves that in Real Estate Development, one can solve all challenges with resourcefully created solutions. Stephen enjoys hiking, mountain biking, basketball, and coaching his son’s sports teams.

Elena graduated from the prestigious Universita' Cattolicà in Milano, Italy, with a degree in Economics and a Master's in Business. She enjoyed studying abroad in San Diego, London, UK, and Seoul, South Korea. Shortly before graduating, Elena worked towards earning her immigration to the United States, landing first in New York City. After several months of being in the states, Elena joined a volunteer-based organization that rebuilds residential homes affected by natural disasters all over the southern United States. After volunteering for 2 years, Elena moved to Phoenix, AZ, where she worked for a general contracting firm in commercial construction.

Elena has been local in Boise, ID since 2020. She co-founded Vera Development in 2022, where her expertise in finance, underwriting, and operations are essential to the team.

She enjoys horse riding, painting, hiking, and art & cultural museums.
